Panel discussion at the opening
The trade fair will open on Friday with a panel discussion: Sven Haller, State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Digital Affairs and other industry experts will discuss the topic: "The construction industry facing current challenges". The panelists are Peter Nitschke (President, Saxony-Anhalt Construction Industry Association), Marko Mühlstein (Managing Director, Saxony-Anhalt State Energy Agency), Lothar Dieringer (Managing Director of Dieringer GmbH, Chairman of the Halle-Saalekreis District Crafts Association) and Siverin Arndt-Krüger (Vice President of the Saxony-Anhalt Chamber of Architects).

Ministers at SaaleBAU
Two ministers will be visiting the trade fair on the opening day:
Prof. Dr. Armin Willingmann, Minister for Science, Energy, Climate Protection and the Environment of the State of Saxony-Anhalt and Deputy Prime Minister, will present the "Green House Number" together with representatives of the State Energy Agency. The Saxony-Anhalt Green House Number, launched in 2017, is an ongoing competition organized by the State Energy Agency Saxony-Anhalt GmbH (LENA) and its partners for owners of residential buildings; these best-practice examples of energy-efficient and sustainable construction demonstrate technical and economic feasibility

The patron of SaaleBAU, Dr. Lydia Hüskens, Minister for Infrastructure and Digital Affairs of Saxony-Anhalt, will take the opportunity of her visit to the trade fair to visit the stand of the Chamber of Architects, among others. There she will be presented with the Chamber's latest publication "Architecture Awards of the State of Saxony-Anhalt 1995 to 2022", and the traveling exhibition of the same name will be on display at the stand.

SaaleBAU as an important meeting place for exchange and communication
Questions about housing are still very important, and SaaleBAU is a first-class point of contact and an important guide for anyone planning a construction project, property redevelopment or home improvement measures for 2024. Beate Zwerenz, Managing Director of HALLE MESSE GmbH, emphasizes: "SaaleBAU is an important meeting place for exchange and communication. For years, it has been a functioning and independent platform that brings together supply and demand. Two topics will dominate the presentation this year: energy efficiency and energy-efficient renovation. "Second construction phase"
SaaleBAU is not least a trade fair for doers and active people who want to realize long-cherished wishes. New windows, doors and stairs, new roofs and facades, carports, garages and even fences are all part of the "second construction phase", as are, for example, a new kitchen, a modern bathroom, a pool, a conservatory or covered property planning with new path design, paving, etc. In many cases, decisions have to be made that will last for years - professional support is essential. Trade fair dates
The trade fair is open from Friday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Admission costs 7 euros, reduced 6 euros, which includes participation in the lecture program. With the 3 p.m. ticket, a visit to the trade fair costs just 3 euros.
