SaaleBAU 2024 - Design ideas and offers for the home

Spring is here and with it SaaleBAU 2024 - the start of the construction season. From March 15 to 17, exhibitors from all sectors will provide an overview of the latest offerings in the areas of planning, construction and renovation: new trends, products and services as well as tailor-made solutions for houses and apartments will be on display. Over three days, visitors can obtain information, have all their questions answered and get to know their potential contractors. The trade fair will open on Friday with a panel discussion: Sven Haller, State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Digital Affairs and other industry experts will discuss the topic: "The construction industry facing current challenges" (Friday, March 15, 11:00 a.m., Podium Hall 2).

Issues relating to housing are still very important. SaaleBAU is a first-class point of contact and an important source of guidance for anyone planning a construction project, property redevelopment or home improvement measures for 2024. Beate Zwerenz, Managing Director of HALLE MESSE GmbH, emphasizes:"SaaleBAU is an important meeting place for exchange and communication. For years, it has been a functioning and independent platform that brings together supply and demand. At SaaleBAU, (potential) building owners receive practical and individual support in the planning and implementation of their projects."

Two topics will dominate the presentation this year: energy efficiency and energy-efficient renovation. Numerous solar suppliers (Hall 2) will be providing expert advice, presenting possible implementation options and demonstrating energy-efficient measures for new builds, existing houses and apartments. In the context of the use of renewable energies, the question of heating and hot water supply is also of great importance in many households: What can and must I do, what options for conversion, expansion or the purchase of new systems make sense and what are the expected costs? These and other questions will be answered by exhibitors such as the Saxony-Anhalt State Energy Agency (Hall 2, Stand H2) and Energieberatung Mitteldeutschland (Hall 2, Stand G3). The newly launched KfW subsidy comes at just the right time and will be presented at the stands and on the podium at the trade fair, from checking eligibility for subsidies to submitting applications and awarding contracts.

SaaleBAU is not least a trade fair for doers and active people who want to realize long-cherished wishes. New windows, doors and stairs, new roofs and facades, carports, garages and even fences are all part of the "second construction phase", as are, for example, a new kitchen, a modern bathroom, a pool, a conservatory or covered property planning with new path design, paving, etc. In many cases, decisions have to be made that will last for years - professional support is essential.

The building fair will once again be complemented by an extensive program, including the awarding of the Green House Number by the Saxony-Anhalt State Energy Agency. The fair is open from Friday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Admission costs 7 euros, reduced admission 6 euros, which includes participation in the lecture program. With the 3 p.m. ticket, a visit to the trade fair costs just 3 euros. The SaaleBAU app is also available for optimal trade fair preparation; it provides all the important information and provides valuable support during the trade fair visit - from the exhibitor directory and ticket purchase to the interactive hall plan and specialist program.
