After a long forced break, SaaleBAU is back at HALLE MESSE. From March 17 to 19, exhibitors will be showcasing new trends, products and services as well as customized solutions for houses, apartments and gardens. Over 170 exhibitors will provide an overview of the latest products and services in the areas of planning, building and renovation.
Whether new house construction or renovation, modernization and redesign - the trade fair provides information and offers for a wide range of concerns. The range of exhibits is extensive. Craftsmen from the region in particular will be showcasing innovative solutions, products and complete offers, providing advice and helping to implement individual plans and specific projects. With the start of spring comes a fresh impetus that many people want to use to make changes to their own four walls - there are numerous suggestions, proposals and concrete offers at the trade fair stands.
Focus on energy efficiency
The use of renewable energies and possible hybrid solutions are the current and future-relevant topics of the moment. How can the upcoming energy refurbishment be implemented? What needs to be taken into account and which smart home technologies can I use? What possible variants and combinations of heating systems with photovoltaics, solar thermal energy and geothermal energy are there? Are heat pumps the "golden key"? Information on cost-effectiveness and current funding opportunities is available at the exhibition stands and on the podium with interesting presentations by energy experts. The Landesenergieagentur Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH (LENA, Hall 2 Stand D 8) offers neutral, provider-independent orientation advice (Hall 2).
Property and house
The real estate market is on the move again. Young families in particular are trying to fulfill their dream of owning their own home. The new construction subsidy, which started on March 1, 2023, is just right for this: KfW is supporting "climate-friendly new construction" with low-interest loans, and from July this year families will be able to benefit from the newly launched subsidy program for home ownership. At SaaleBAU, experts from the real estate sector will be on hand to help with the search for land and houses, new builds, renovations and purchases - whether single-family homes in prefabricated or solid construction or renovated houses. The Real Estate Exchange (Hall 1, Foyer) will have the latest offers on display.
Renovate, modernize and turn plans into reality
SaaleBAU is not least a trade fair for doers and active people who want to realize long-cherished wishes. New windows, doors and stairs, new roofs and facades, carports, garages and even fences are all part of the "second construction phase", as are, for example, a new kitchen, a modern bathroom, a pool, a conservatory or covered property planning with new path design, paving, etc. In many cases, decisions have to be made that will last for years - professional support is essential. Craftsmen and contractors from the construction industry advise and support measures from planning to execution, including barrier-free and age-appropriate conversions and living - a matter for all ages. Improved usability of renovated or newly constructed buildings not only increases the value of the property, it also creates comfort and makes it possible to live within one's own four walls or in one's own home even with limited mobility (Halls 1 and 2).
Security in the house and apartment
Competent contacts provide advice on security in houses and apartments. Mechanical and electrical security measures will be presented. From gates, fences and grilles to burglar-proof windows and doors and fire alarms, the trade fair presents a wide range of products to prevent robberies and break-ins. The police will also be providing information on effective precautions using examples from everyday life (Hall 2. Police bus).
Innovative new development from Saxony-Anhalt
TILAS3D closes the gap between conventional surveying technology and the high-priced 3D scanning systems established on the market. It is aimed directly at the building contractor and enables the simple recording of material volumes. It can also be used for quality assurance in civil engineering work by carrying out scans directly from the construction machine during the work and comparing them with a target value profile (desired ground profile) (status: FY 6).

Little builders really big
The GP children's construction site (Hall 2 Stand H 10) will make the hearts of little builders beat faster. Discover their own strengths and have fun while playing. And perhaps one or the other will discover their dream job - there is always construction going on and the industry has interesting things to offer.
Building Trades Day
On Friday, March 17, HALLE MESSE invites employees from the building trade to SaaleBAU free of charge for the "Building Trades Day", a good opportunity to see what's new at the trade fair and in the industry and to exchange ideas with colleagues on site. Prerequisite: The employees come in their work outfit!
